Recent renovations of the Hart House transformed into a true home and a vibrant gathering place! The current resident is brimming with excitement as his wife shared her vision for this iconic establishment. With her family by her side, she was determined to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make everyone feel right at home. Not only that, but he also envisions The Hart House became the hub for university events, where students can come together to celebrate, learn, and connect. The Hart House has evolved into a thriving community space that will leave you inspired and eager to be part of its story.
This remarkable venue will not only serve as a wonderful space for campus events but also become a cherished home for current Duke University President and family, as well as future Duke presidents. The beauty and significance of this building hold a special place in many hearts, and we are delighted that students and faculty will have the opportunity to enjoy its splendor. The transformation of Hart House is a testament to our commitment to providing an exceptional environment for our campus community.
Project execution
When the House Manager of Duke University reached out to us about updating the Living Room and both guest rooms. When we approached the redesign of Hart House in Durham, North Carolina, the President's wife had a clear vision of what she wanted: an updated space where they could entertain, retreat, and enjoy the company of friends and family. We choose classic, timeless fabrics from Schumacher and Thibaut.
