Junior Interior Designer

Schedule

Weekday schedule centered on Monday–Thursday; occasional installation days may begin early or extend beyond studio hours.

Location

Charlotte, NC studio-based hybrid role with local client, showroom, and jobsite travel.

Compensation

$50,000–$60,000 annualized full-time equivalent, prorated to scheduled hours; final offer based on portfolio and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop space plans, sourcing options, finish selections, specifications, schedules, and client presentation materials.
  • Prepare and maintain drawings, project binders, samples, and digital design files.
  • Request quotes, verify dimensions and product details, and support procurement documentation.
  • Participate in site measures, client meetings, vendor visits, installations, and styling.
  • Support product styling, sourcing, and visual content for Stacy Nicole Home when assigned.
  • Track revisions and ensure final selections align with scope, budget, and the approved design direction.

Qualifications

  • Degree or advanced coursework in interior design, interior architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Portfolio showing strong space planning, sourcing, presentation, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in commonly used drafting, modeling, presentation, and productivity software.
  • Accurate, organized, coachable, and comfortable receiving direct design feedback.
  • Reliable transportation and availability for in-studio and local project work.
