Townhouse living has a rhythm to it, vertical, layered, with rooms that need to earn every inch. We love that challenge.
For this Charlotte bachelor townhouse, the goal was a space that felt both open and grounded: urban in its energy, warm in its finish. We started with an open-concept layout that kept the living, dining, and work areas in natural conversation with each other, giving the home that expansive feel that townhouses can sometimes lose.
Dark wood tones and metal accents set the masculine tone, but it's the modular furniture and deliberate styling that make the space actually function. Industrial-style lighting keeps the aesthetic sharp. A muted, cohesive color palette keeps it calm. Nothing fights for attention; everything works together.
This is what great space planning looks like: a home that adapts, to a quiet night in, a dinner with friends, a focused work-from-home morning, without any friction. The layout does the work so the resident doesn't have to think about it.
Sophisticated. Inviting. Unmistakably his.
